Thanksgiving is all about GIVING: Join Nourishing NYC as we give 1000 turkeys to families in need

What are you doing this Thanksgiving? How about helping out in your community, its time to give back! Nourishing NYC has ample volunteering opportunities for you and yours. Help Nourishing NYC as we launch our Thanksgiving Back campaign where you too can volunteer and help to feed, educate and advocate for families in-need this year. From the 21st-the 23rd we will be distributing 1000 turkeys to families in need throughout Harlem and the Bronx, from our very own V.A.N (Vehicle Advocating Nutrition). So put down that pumpkin pie and that football and come help spread the nourishment, your community needs you. Can you imagine a more exciting time?

Here’s how to start:
1. Go to: http://www.meetup.com/nourishingnyc/
2. Check out our upcoming events: http://www.meetup.com/nourishingnyc/#upcoming
3. Make a profile, we want to know about you and see your face
4. RSVP to an event that you can definitely commit to (if you don’t show the families feel the brunt)
5. Come join us as we provide “Nutrition For All”
6. Keep your profile, meetup is our primary mode for advertising volunteer opportunities year-round

If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to contact Jessika Carney at Nourishingjesska@gmail.com

I was just trying to find out exactly what locations in Harlem would your V.A.N be giving turkeys away. It has
been a tough year for me and my family and turkey would at least help us to have a thanksgiving dinner.
    Thank you and God bless!
